Default Where are Gladiator/JL guys mounting radios?

With the JK there are some flush mount kits, but since there's nothing quite yet for the JL/Gladiator, are people putting GMRS and HAM radios hanging from the overhead console, or just drilling to the top of the dash or...?

In my JK. DC to daylight radio and HF antenna tuner and hardware to interface to Nexus 7 for remote control (CB is mounted behind the glove box) ...

And in my JT. 2M/70CM, GMRS and CB. Just one antenna, though, on an NMO mount. Swap out antenna depending on what radios folks on that trip are using ...

Check out this dash-mount kit from bulletpoint solutions:

I've got a 2m/440Mhz dual-band radio with a detachable head unit. I'm mounting the radio portion under the seat and the small head unit to this dash mount using the go-pro style mounts and connectors.

I remember the days when we simply wheeled!!! No maps, no radio, case of beer and a gun to kill dinner with. That looks like Houston Space Control but nicely laid out Mark.

Yaesu FTM200 with a Diamond 770NMO. Radio under passengers seat, control head at the front of the console. Antenna between the cab and bed. I will neither confirm or deny that the radio can do GMRS.

gmrs license is only 35 bucks for ten years, no test, the whole family covered under one license. I hope it does work on gmrs. But I’ve been scared to tear into my icom and remove parts off the circuit board that people say , “it works, but do at own risk”
