great story, I'm sure this may have already been shared on the geocaching forums, but I am going to link to it again.

.as much as i loved the story, your ending is quite moving......i have felt that when a process is developed in a persons life, there is some sort of satisfaction. This is also true for ppl who want the exact opposite. Some ppl want to go day by day, not having a care in the world, but loving the fact that they are alive. (also a process, ppl just like to call it care free)

Since in the last 3 years i have experienced both....right now im in the living day to day....i am realizing i want the life of process back. I work, sleep, school....repeat. once a week drinking at the local college bar, still not knowing exactly what i want to do in life. As this may seem like a process its more of a continuous stage of a mediocre life.

I want to start doing things like i used too. working out, fishing, hanging out with freinds (< more than just drinking i mean). So too any other similar persons out there (college grads who havent figured out what they want out of life) , take time to read the story, for one, you are obviously bored enough to check this out, this has been solid inspiration to find nirvana.....even if it is doing the small things.

Last statement....Anyone in the Hotel, Resort, Casino.....Hospitality Business? This is not a cry for a job, just want to get some insight to what you are doing and how you like it, so on. I am goin into Hosp. Management for my masters and am curious.

Sorry for the ramble but hell, its a forum and im sitting at work doing a lot of nothing so enjoy!

My brother has been a GM at Hamptons, Hilton Garden Inn's, Embassy Suites and Drury Inn's. He started out as a night auditor.

He's made a good living, but has also lived in Minneapolis, Dallas, San Antonio (twice), Austin TX (twice), Indianapolis, St. Louis, and Memphis. The fringe benifits are good (plenty of girls around), but the constant transfers are tough on the family.
