I just registered today... I think I'm going to like this a lot. My wife and I talked about it a couple years ago but never did much. I think that, with the 2 near-by caches, we'll start getting into it pretty quickly. I already found the spot to hide my first cache too!

Default Josephus

One name.
Josephus
JK-Forum, Geocaching, Beachbody, SIRA and that other Rubicon site.

I got introduced to Geocaching by Spoyd a coworker and friend. He started 30 days before me and he's quickly approaching 2000 finds. Me I'm around 175 finds.

What I love about geocaching is the search, the journey, and at times the scenery. I tend to use Geocaching and Panaramio to find great vista points or interesting adventures when on vacation or traveling.

Read the cache description before going and pick the ones in parks where you can play with the kids also. Some are even "stroller" friendly.

My kids are 7 & 9 and have been doing geocaching since my youngest was about 18 months. He made his first find shortly afterwards.
