Geocaching name"Salamander's"
Geocaching for 6 years now. Got started looking for things to do with our 3 boys(11, 8 and 4). Always do at least 1 every January 1st so that we get the New Year started right by doing something together as a family.

hi guys. im the fyre half of forestfyre07. together my hubby and i have been caching since june of 2007 after his cousin tried sevearl times to get us into it at various family events. since then we have celebrated our 1000th cache together, then suprassed him with over 2400 finds today. we absolutey love the sport and all the awesome places it takes us to.

up until the past week we were caching with our 2005 pontiac vibe. we took that baby offroading into some places even our jeep friends looked questionly at us about our caching community here is now made up of 75% jeep owners, and we proudly joined the club last week. no more vibe jeeping for us lol. looking forward to several road trips in this puppy, and several more accessible caches now that we have a proper 4x4 lol.

i have been caching for a little over a year now i believe. two of my friends got me into it. the just called me up one day and asked if i wanted to go. of course i had no idea what it was and had a lot of questions. after the firstday i was hooked. now i have the geocaching.com app on my iphone and try to go as much as possible. my son loves it. he calls it treasure hunting. everytime i get the GPS out he always asks if we can go treasure hunting. my screen name is The Spegals

Been a cacher since 2006.

Read a news story about a cache someone reported as a possible bomb, so the bomb squad blew it up. When they realized what it was, they put the pieces back along with some cop stuff. I thought that was hilarious, and had a GPS and an account within a week of reading about it.

Link to my profile:

I don't go as often lately as I used to.

edit: looks like I need to update my pic, since that's my old cachin' jeep. need a pic of the new JK.
