Jeepn' Geocachers!!!
Its basically a high tech version of hide-and-seek using a gps. People hide various containers and post the co-ords online and you go looking for them. Its quite fun and a great way to get off the couch. Check out geocaching.com for a full description.
I also got into geocaching this spring. Its something that I can get the whole family out in the Jeep and do together. I have a 7yo and 5yo twins and they all take turns with the GPS and they love it. 31 finds so far.
I've been geocaching since February 2001 - over ten years now. User geocaching name is W9JIM (my HAM radio call sign). Most of my finds are in the deserts of southern California. To date, I have 1904 finds and 58 hides.
I'm always up for geocaching, so if anyone wants to hook up, just let me know!

I am using a Megellan explorist GC, nice little unit.
