Looking for a GPS
So I'm looking for a GPS, but don't want to spend too much $$$ on one. Maybe around $200.00. I was just looking at these two. TomTom XL 330 and the Magellan RoadMate 1412. Are either one of these good? I've read a few reviews on both and I'm kind of leaning towards the TomTom. If you have any recommenations on a good GPS in my price range let me know. I definitely would like one that shows my MPH.
Thanks.
Thanks.
I have a Garmin nuvi 200w and it is in your price range. I don't know if it is the best but it works great for me. I have used it for 1.5 years now so they might have a better model.
I really like Garmin for the road. The w on this model is for widescreen and I recommend you get the w for easy viewing.
It has a great screen to show your mph which I used as a correct speedo after larger tires.
I can't put a working link in for you with a non-sponsor so...
take the space out between the h and t for a link:

I did some research before purchasing my gps and found the garmin to be the most used with the highest ratings (for a reason). I got my 255W for under $180 a few months ago and have had zero issues with it while me and my gf both use it.
Go to the store and see what interface you like the most. See when the maps were updated (i think garmin is every January) and the cost of updates to compare those charges.

Thanks for the info. I have a friend that recommended Garmin as well. I'll check it out.
