Default 10-1 Badlands day trip

I'm planning a day trip to Badlands in Indiana on 10-1. I'll have some passengers with me but won't have any other jeeps coming with me. Anybody else thinking out being out there that day we could hook up with? I'll have my 11 yo son and a friends teenager who's never been to badlands so we'll be looking to show her what the park is all about.

Also, anybody know what their policy is on grilling? I have a small portable charcoal grill that I'm considering using to grill hamburgers for lunch.

And what about trailers? I think its ok to bring a trailer in that I could keep doors and top on but I can't remember if I saw other people doing that the one time I've been there. I'm just thinking it will be cold at 6am when I'm going to be leaving home but could get warm enough to shed the top as the day goes on.

Thanks

Great! Thanks. Last time I was there we were camping and I didn't pay much attention to what other people were doing in the parking lot. Just drove through on the way to the exit.

yep last time out they turned away some kids. from what I gathered it was because they didn't have a notarized letter from their parents even though they were with an adult.

Yes, I saw the forms and that they have to be notarized. We'll be prepared.

Had a great time! Drove with the sway bar disconnected and aired down for the first time. Holy crap what a difference!

Sorry 2011jker, I didn't catch up with you. I did see you driving through the parking lot while we were eating though.
