Noob here. Just wondering if anyone is headed over there and don't mind me tagging along.

 

I'll be there (Silver JKU) for my first time in a Jeep that weekend, along with a black JKUR and 2 lifted XJ's (red and green).
Sunday will be our last day there though.

 

How was the trip?

 

If you're asking me, it was awesome. I had no problems except for a hill climb in the sand in 2wd. I wanted to see how far I could make it. Had to get tugged out.

I climbed some rock ledges down in the quarry that I thought I'd never make.

 

Good! I was asking either really. I wanted to go but no way I could have made it. I hope to get up there later this month or early Sept. I've always had a good time there.

 

It is a good time. We tent camped and the people at the campgrounds were extremely accommodating and friendly. They let us stay outside the actual grounds so we could tuck into the trees where there was shade. Otherwise we'd have gotten cooked all weekend.
