Default Badlands Labor Day Weekend

Hey, I'm new here. I met CodySanders Monday and he pointed me to check out this group. I'm fairly new to the JK world but I have been around wheeling for the last 8-10 years with various different configurations from mild to moderately extreme.

I'm involved with another club with a member that is sponsoring an annual run at the Badlands. usually it is in July but this year he moved it to Labor Day Weekend. There have been in excess of 100 people show up for this run, it's a family event. In fact I've spent some years never leaving the campgrounds just hanging out and having fun.

Anyway, bottom line if you are looking to come out that weekend you'll be able to find us in the campgrounds there at the Badlands. (look for a lot of rangers/explorers and a handfull of Jeeps).

Saturday night there will be a charity raffle. The proceeds benefit Cystic Fibrosis. There is everything from t-shirts to winches and then some.

Anyway, I wanted to throw this out there if you were thinking about coming out that weekend or are now, stop by and say hi. I'll be in campsite #28 with a pop up and my green unlimited. Everyone there knows me by the same name I go by here.

Welcome to the great lakes section! Thanks for the info I wouldn't be surprised if a few guys end up going on that run. I hope you're not too shaken up after meeting Cody. He's quite the character.

No worries. Yeah they are on, had plenty of extra bolts in the cabinet. Got some tubing on the way for them too when a buddy rolls through town.

I'll keep an eye on the runs here. Might not be able to make much this year. Between the kids and work I don't usually have a ton of free time this time of year.
