Yeah... you should definately go on Sunday instead of Saturday! If you haven't already seen it there is another thread about a group going on Sunday.

 

I'm not sure if the park will even be open on Saturday with the qualifier for King of the Hammers. I would definitely call and double check before driving down from Chicago.

 

It is open from 9 to 5 for park use then they kick everyone out and run the KOH qualifier. They run parts of the KOH all day, but I think the big stuff is after 5 and uses whole place.

It is 10 to go watch qualifier but if you pay the 20 to wheel you can stay and watch for free.

Well the Park was only 1/3 open due to the event...Total waste of time driving down..
But I met some cool fellow Jeepers that I turned on to the forum.I hope they sign up.
