I was eye balling the rock stars too. Do they need to be welded on? And do you need coil spring retainers since it moves the shock mount up 1.5" It would really be a PITA if a spring shot out while wheeling

I'm sitting in a shop and bored so I thought I'd post this. I had an issue finding a shop to put on my c gussets and then it hit me. There is a hot rod shop a few miles from home, so I decided to swing by and try my luck there. I had to show the service writer the parts and dry fit them so he could see what the heck a c gusset is

After debating about cooked ball joints they pulled my jeep in to do the work. I saw welds on another car here and they could win a beauty contest with them. I have no doubt they do good work it's just a bit out of the ordinary to do a Jeep.

They even said they would do sleeves too, they do gears and I was told it would be about 300 per axle for a gear install. As of now the welder quoted me 1hr labor for gusset install so it comes out around 80 bucks. If anyone wants the info pm me and if ya time it right I'll pick ya up from the shop to grab a beer while your work is done

Ok so it took them 1.5 hr to install the C-gussets but they reduced the hr rate since they misquoted the time and it was 97.50 out the door

EVO RockStars are bolt-on. All it takes is a Sawzall, an angle grinder, and a can of Rustoleum. I added Teraflex 1/2" rear spring spacer/coil guides while I was at it. Getting those stuck up into the holes in the bottom of the Jeep was worse than the RockStar work.
