A group of us from a different forum head to Southington Off Road Park each month. The next trail run is tomorrow and sunday (6/7 and 6/8)

The park is in Garrettsville (45 minutes east of Cleveland). $25 for driver and Jeep plus $5 for each passenger for the day. You can also go both days for a discount.

So just got picked up my first Jeep this past weekend, 2014 unlimted sport all stock parts atm. So am I insane to think I can take it out thr for a gentle ride if not what is the first thing I need to look into upgrading... I am an motorcycle guy so this jeep thing is all very new to me. thanks J

 

Shadd yes that is the place and you can go out there stock and be safe. You will find someone to take you around the stock trails and show you the ropes.

 

You should have no problems in a stock Jeep at SOR. There are plenty of trails that it can handle with no problems.

What you do first is entirely up to you. There are so many directions to go. Personally, I would start with wheels and tires. It gives the Jeep a much better look and can help with off road ability.

Come on out next month and have some safe fun! Just walk up to someone and say "Hello." There's a pretty big contingent of JK Freaks dot com members that come out every month.

 

Hey everyone, I live in Cleveland and I'm new to JKs and this forum. I'm always down for a meet with ppl. Looking for some jeep friends, all my friends drive sports cars haha. I'm the odd one out.
