I am siging up this week for the Jeep Jamboree on Drummond Island. Just curious to see who wlse will be there.

Maybe we can get a M&G during the trip with forum members.

It would be fun, but that's close to when Camp Jeep is supposed to occur. I'll try really to go to the jamboree in French Lick though, or perhaps the one in West Virginia.

Isn't Camp jeep the last weekend of July? This is 6 weeks before!!!!

It's either the end of June or July, they haven't said yet. Although I really wish they would so that I could make some concrete plans.

That would be very depressing, if it were true. If that's the case though, then I may very well try to go Drummond. I've gotta start going to some of these events.

If you guys remember the only stock metallic green CJ5 that was there, I ran that on the island last year....I'm too old for stock CJ suspension on that islands rocks, I was sore for days.

I am considering running the JK this year...just a tad worried about beating the snot out of it.

From what I understand, a stock JK will go toe to toe with a TJ Rubicon. With that said, I really feel that my JK will do just fine. I guess we will find out in June.

We are registered and are loking forward to going.

I do remember a nice green 68-71 type CJ5 in our group. {white group} I took
some pictures of it towing a JK out of a mud hole for my brother because he
had a Jeep just like it. Just love those old Jeeps!! Don't forget the bug spay.
