I'm in as long its the weekend of the 16 and 17. Its the only weekend I have off in Oct. Keep us posted.

I believe rifle season starts on the 15th, I'm not sure though.........

I am free that weekend also, sounds good. I believe last year we went within the first two weeks of Oct during bow season, need to find out when rifle season starts....

Bow season starts 1Oct and runs through 14Nov, although there is a special season 14-17Oct for disabled hunters.
Bowhunters need more peace than gun hunters, but I certainly wouldn't be hunting next to an ORV trail....

and just so everyone knows... Turtle Ridge on Drummond Island is a private park so we wouldn't have to worry about bothering any bow or rifle hunters

Can you find prices for cabins in drummond island? I saw some and they are expensive as hell. I would tent it if it was just me and the boys, but it's me the boys and the warden

I hear ya. What did you guys end up paying for the cabins last year? I'm doing some poking around but I'm normally in a tent so I don't know what's expensive for a cabin rental. I wouldn't be surprised though if they run more on the island than they would on the mainland.
