Finally after several months I have completed a route-able trail map of Michigan. The map includes some trails I mapped, MI ORV (4x4) trails and Drummond Island. The map is a self installing exe file for mapsource and can be uploaded to the GPS from mapsouce. PM me if interested as the file is to large to e-mail.

 

I'd be interested I signed up for this free file hosting service goaruna.com. I could put it up there for you if you can somehow get it to me or you could try it out too if you like. They allow up to 100 MB files.

 

Very cool, so will this work on all garmins? i.e. the Oregon or the new gpsmap62?

OK, the map is on a site for downloading. Just one the exe file to install in Mapsource and read the readme.txt file in the install directory. The map should work in most Garmin GPS's, although I only tested it on a Nuvi 205W and E-trex Legend.

Scott, sounds like a good idea. May need to meet a little farther North for some new trails. I'm free Friday and Saturdays. I would like to do a fall ride up by Mesick, some nice trails along the river for color.

 

Let me know if you guys plan something like that, I have a cabin just outside of Mesick, could make for a good weekend of wheeling this fall.
