Default my first response to all electrical problems...

When I have any electrical issues... .the first thing I do is take off both battery cables, and hold the positive to the negative for about 30 seconds. This gives the electrical system a "hard reset". Has solved a couple issues for me over the past few years.

If that doesn't work, then I start to diagnose....

Glad to see the jeep is back to normal!!

I say it's your head spinning from all the apple pie moonshine and not the fan! layoff of it and your good to go.

I had a similar issue with my wiper blades. I left work and when I turned on the jeep they started going. they were shutoff from the controls but were wiping away. I wasn't raining for awhile so i hadn't used them in a week. I pulled the fuse labelled for the wipers. Doing that shutoff the wipers but it also killed all the electrical gauges on my dash (no fuel, speed, temp gauges, etc). drove home and let it sit in garage. Next morning I put the fuse back in and everything was fine. Hasn't happened since.
