Default Madison area info

A friend from work that I wheel with is moving to Madison in a couple of months. I have spent time in the Northwoods area round Rhinelander but I really don't know about off road areas around Madison, any info that I can forward onto him would be great. The Northwest is a great Micro brew area, is there anyplace around Madison that he should visit?

Thanks!

Not too many wheeling spots around there that I know of. But tell him to check out legendary civilian jeepers online. We just had a meeting in Madison on Tuesday. There's plenty of trips and more meetings scheduled on the their forum.

Capital Brewery in Middleton ( a few miles west of Madison) has some pretty good choices.

Thanks for the info, maybe the Brewery can soften the blow of not having a wheeling areas near by.
