Default Michigan Jeepers out there?

Looking to do some Jeeping within a few hours drive. IE: Badlands in Attica, IN. Usually go on a one day trip. Haven't been since new ownership. Any takers? I'm in the Detroit metro area. I have a stock 2008 JK unlimited RUBICON.

Wow, someone dug up an old thread!!!! Two years old.....

The mounds is alright. I live ten minutes from there and rarely go. It is two hours of fun followed by 6 hours of celaning. The mud is so thick, something breaks every time.

I agree that everything breaks! Last time i went i was wheeling in the woods when my front wheels got stuck in a ditch. So i stepped on it and crawled out.
When i got out i had to slam on the brakes cause there was trees every! So braking didnt work and i slid into a tree.
Busted my drivers side fender and crushed my bumper.

I would be interested in a day/weekender trip, as long as people wouldn't mind a "stock" x slowin them down.
