Default Michigan Two Trackers SnowFest Run 2/12/11

Hey guys, just wanted to let you know I heard that the Michigan Two Trackers are having a snow run on 2/12/11. They will be meeting at the Wal-Mart parking lot in Big Rapids. The driver's meeting is at 9am and is open to pretty much any type of 4x4 but hopefully there will be a few people there to represent the JKs.

It sounds like a good time, I am going to try and make it to this. They seem like a pretty laid back club that is big on working with other organizations to keep land open for off-roading in the Great Lakes area.

Walmart Supercenter
21400 Perry Ave.
Big Rapids, MI 49307

Let me know if you're thinking of going and we could caravan up US-131 that morning

I am interested in some kind of snow run.

Any more details on this one? Length of the run? route? etc?

That's about all I have so far. I'll see if I can find out more from the member I talked to.

I'll ask the guys and let you know too. I know we have a run tomorrow also down by Martin dragway. Here is the info posted on our website about tomorrows run.

The Any Run will be led by Doug Wine and Marc French thru the secnic Allegan area. This will be a short run, (done around 2:00ish) so everyone can be home in time to clean up and make the Any Party. This will be on seasonal roads.
The Drivers Meeting will be at 9:00am at the Martin Exit just off of 131. There is a staging area just north west of the exit, across the street from the gas station.

Is that run for the two-trackers also? We're heading up skiing tomorrow otherwise that sounds like it would be a nice quick run close to home.

I'll check the schedule but I might be in. I'd be coming from SW Michigan.

That sounds like a blast, but its Valentines weekend. I'm not sure my girl is going to want to spent that day wheeling in the cold.
