I plan on having this done by the time we all make it to the badlands.
I plan on doing my front axle. Here are the specifics. My plan is to run 38X14.50x17 Nitto Mud Grapplers.
New Gears front and rear 5:13
Evo Axle sleeves
Evo Axle gussets
Arb Air Locker
Rock Krawler Truss
New Carrier
Chromo axle shafts
I hope this will be enough to push these puppies and not break on me.
Anybody else thing of anything i missed or think anything is a bad idea?????

With the locker don't forget you will need some onboard air. I imagine that is one in the same, but not on the wallet. That ARB is supposed to be the best! The new heavy duty clutch kit, also. Someone started a thread somewhere on the forum about it. If it is going to be a crawler might as well put that in the plans.
You missed D60s front and rear (HA!). That will be one sick machine.

I looked online for the Teraflex Axle and cant find a front 44.....It says there is dana 60 thats around 5000 and to buy just the mopar is 3000 unequipped so I feel that since im really not going to go extreme just yet this dana 30 beefed up will last me.
Mopar 44 front=3000
gussets + 150
Sleeves +120
Shafts + 500
Truss +120
Arb Air Locker +800
Gears F+R = 450 +
Total = 5140 before tax and install price = DUMB IDEA!!!!! I could buy a new dana 60 for the price of that and be set
Now Dana 30 Idea and drive the piss out of it until it goes kablooweeeee!!!!!
Dana 30= Free
Gussests +150
Sleeves +120
Shafts +500
Truss +120
AIr locker +800
Gears F+R = 450
Total= 2000 and I was qouted 700 for install by 4 wheel parts.
So I feel that I will probably pretty much bombproof my 30 from common problems, unless i get real dumb and break it on purpose.
Anyone else feel like im just waisting money on a bad investment here????
I like criticism so feel free!!!!

I don’t know man; $2700.00 is a lot of cheese to spend, and in the end you still have a 30, granted a much stronger 30.
If you already have the funds available to finance this upgrade, you might find it in your best interest just continuing to take it easy on your 30 until you can save up for the more bullet proof 60.
You’re already half way there with your current funds, and if you factor in the additional money you can recoup by selling your 30 after the swap, the difference in cost between the two is not all that great.
You need to really think long term when spending this kind of money. If you’re confident that you'll never push your rig hard enough that a built 30 can last the life expectancy of your current rig; then go for it. But you need to be honest with yourself to avoid buyer’s remorse in the future.
I have found in life, that it is often less painful in the long run to suffer the waiting process until I can get what my heart really desires, as opposed to instant gratification with later regrets. Good luck with whatever route you decide to go!

thanks mastif. I did do some thinking and since i probably wont be able to run 38's safely yet. I figure I will just do the following and keep the 35's.....I still love 35's
Gussetts, sleeves, shafts, arb, and gears.
I really need the gussetts and shafts if i ever want my 30 to last until i get my funds together for the sexy 60. The locker I can take out or just sell when i sale the 30. The sleeves I have already ordered and dont really mind installing myself.
So the only thing that I will really pay for are the shafts, locker and gear install. Still is going to be pricey for the gears and shafts and locker but it should be worth it.
Anyone think i should just throw the selectable into the rear axle and shaft the front axle and leave it open?????

HAhaha she will be there and If i want to be king I will go to the end of the line and sink my jeep where i doubt anyone will dare follow!!!!!!!
Then again im dumb and young....
My plan for my jk is to one day definately run 40's and turn this thing into my fiance and I's buggy!!!!!
She loves it and is constantly asking to drive it so I figure I will customize it so i know its tough and one day she can have it to thrash around.
Then I will get a new toy
