regearing HELP!
I purchased the gears and the overhaul kits from Northridge4x4.com. They charged me $550 for the parts. The install was $300 per axle. So the total was $1,150. There was a little extra in there for fluids. I don't remember what it was but it wasn't much.
It turns out Northridge4x4.com had the gears drop shipped from (I think) DTS in Michigan. I had purchased the gears before I found a shop. You might want to see what Ultimate Offroad Centers would charge you for the parts as they probably get them from the same place Northridge did (DTS in Warren is my guess).

I am happy with my 5.13s and getting about 17.1 mpgs on 35s. I run the 87 superchip tune as well. I would budget a little over for your install, I needed new rear axle seals and my limited slip in the rear needed new clutch packs...once it was all apart....just an FYI.
You'll be fine with 5:13s and 35"s... If you do intend to go off road much, you should do the C-gussets... they are a cheap mod and will keep things from tweeking...
Also, do youreself a favor and get a Superchips programmer.... it will make everything right!!!!
Good luck with the build......
