I read something about this the other day. The day I read it was the day the vote was taking place. Has anyone heard what the outcome was? I read that the fee was to cover the cost of the company in Canada who runs the voucher system. After I read the article, it made me think that if I wanted to go to the dunes on a weekend I would have to pay $10 for the voucher ahead of time. Not sure if I understand it correctly. What I do know is that it seems like the state is getting pretty greedy by charging us so much. Last year they charged more for the extra ORV sticker, now this. When does it end?

 

From what I have found they delayed the vote to get more public input. The proposed voucher system sounds like it will be the same weekends and holidays only with a $10 fee and you purchase and print it from your computer. I haven't seen anything else yet.
