I've never been to Moab, but Warped has. Edie calls Moab the "promised land" so I'm sure the two places don't compare. I can bet that DI is far wetter though! Someone said that DI was rated as one of the top 6 trails in the nation by BFGoodrich. I can't say I ever read that article though. It will test a stock JK though. I have the banged up skids to prove it :-)

Wheeling in the desert and in wheeling a forest are two different animals. I'm not sure if this will help but Jeep Jamboree rates the trails difficulty on the island anywhere from a 4-7.

The majority of trails one the island are pretty wide, wet, and filled with boulders of different sizes. However, a handful of the trails that are made for Jeeps are pretty tight but are still doable even in a huge 4 door. Just takes a bit of fancy steering. A stock jeep can run most of the trails on the island but you will use those skidplates.

We're going to set up a fall colors run to Drummond Island at the end of September this year. You're more than welcome to join us, we'll show you one hell of a good time!
