Default TDWP Concert

For all those who care i just wanted to say that i experienced my first mosh pit scene last night.

I went to the egyptian room to see Devil wears prada and got thrown into the mosh pit. The first experience was the band telling the room to split into two halves and when the breakdown starts everyone go at each other. Two rules if some one falls pick them up and 2. leave nothing standing.... I used some dude as a blocker and when we all met in the middle i jumped with feet first and made my way out the other side.

Then came the circle pit...everyone in the room in a big circle having a ball

ALL IN ALL Devil Wears Prada put on the best show ever and i somehow ended up in the front row with my arms up moshing with everyone

What a great experience

I thought mosh pits were finished in the nineties??? I remember my first, I got crushed. I was crowd surfing and lost my keys once. Those were the days!

I have never been as scared in a mosh pit before as when I saw HORSE the BAND in Washington DC and they were playing the song Cutsman. Not sure if you know the song, but if you don't download it and listen. The prolonged part in the middle where it gets a little slow was like the calm before the storm, and then all hell broke loose when the shouting started and mayhem ensued. Not sure how they do it where your from, but on the East Coast, at hardcore and screamo shows the mosh pits are all just solid punching and kicking. I got my bell rung pretty good a few times until I learned my lesson. Just be careful out there.

And As I Lay Dying was intense too. If you have not yet seen them in concert, do so as soon as possible. Quite possibly the craziest/best performance I have seen.

And if you get a chance to see Underoath, do that too. They kick ass live, they have like 7 band member or something crazy like that and they rock fawkin hard. The keyboardist is the craziest dude believe it or not. They are phenomenal live.

Yeah, I didn't think people still did that. In the 90s when I was going to a lot of shows the pits were crazy. Nothing but kicking and punching. Guys put spikes in the tips of their boots and shit like that. Absolutely crazy shit.

august burns red would be cool to see, but i like their older CD a lot better than the new on. we should just use this thread to start posting band suggestions back and forth.

One of the most innovative bands out there is Killwhitneydead. They take some getting used to, but its awesome.

And check out bring me the horizon. You may listen to them already, they're pretty incredible
