Tin Cup Trail Run 1/29/11 SNOW RUN!
OK I'm in for sure, my step dad's got an '89 CJ7, he may drive his jeep as well or just ride with me, not for sure yet.
Looking forward to it, sounds like they got quite a bit of snow up there right now, should be interesting to see how much they will have 2 weeks from now!

The Tin Cup Trail is a pretty laid back trail. I always tell people it's good for first-times. There is some sand and some moderate hills, but nothing crazy. There are a couple of mud holes, but they are not on the main trail and are optional. If I remember correctly, it's pretty open as well, no worries on the paint.
The Little Manistee I don't think I've been on. But being a State Regulated trail, I gotta believe it's similar to the Tin Cup.
Here in Holland we got enough snow and drifts that I "needed" 4 wheel drive. Heeheehee.
Can't wait for next weekend! We'll be there for sure. Can't decide if I want the stock sized mud terrains or the slightly larger all terrains. Decisions, decisions.

Ah, Great Lakes.... that makes much more sense.
I saw this post under the "New Posts" without looking at the sub-forum. I thought you were referring to Tin Cup Pass in Colorado at over 12,000 feet. You'd need a snowcat for that!
And now back to your regularly scheduled program.
