Default Tire and Wheel question

2009 JK Sahara. Will 35" tires fit with 2 " lift and stock 18" wheels without rubbing while turning. He does not do much offroad if any.

If he is running stock wheels he will need Wheel spacers even with a 2" lift... 1.5" spacers should give him enough room to run the 35" tires...

my 2 cents on the set up:

1. I think 33" tires would look much better with the 2" lift if he is not going to do much wheeling or at all you are going to save some money...
2. If you went to a 17" rim or 16" rim the tires will be much cheaper then if you stayed with 18" rims. along with that you would not need to run wheel spacers because you would have the proper backspacing and off set.

hope that helps!!!

if you are able to drop down in wheel size as for the reasons stated before and also not all companies will carry tires for an 18 also will be better for off roading

Plus if you look at it like this you can turn around and sell your stock tires and rims and make some money off that to off set the cost of the Rim and Tire Combo... head over to discount tire and have them give you a quote on some tires and rims...
