Default Trail Guide for MI

Did a quick search and didn't come up with anything....

Does anyone know of a comprehensive trail guide or listing for Michigan?

I've read about a few solid places on the east side of the state but not much going on over here west that I can see....any ideas

Try this. www .michigan.gov/dnr/0,1607,7-153-10365_16839_50516-38330--,00.html
Copy and paste this link to your browser. Remove the space after the www.
It's a map by the DNR. Look for maps with the Jeep symbol designating an OVR route.

There are a few sources for this information... You should check out Saginaw's post. Also, there are maps of the U.P. that one of the logging complanies issued that are pretty good with forest roads etc. in the U.P. If you call the Escanaba DNR they will send you copies if they have them in stock. Also, I picked up a map at track and trail in Cadillac (ORV/boat dealer) that has NE Michigan trails and it is pretty good too, but a bit costly. I will get the exact names of the maps and post soon.
