I installed my CB this past Sat. while everyone else was playing at the Badlands, but now I need to tune it. If anyone knows of a location to tune a CB that's fairly close to the southern Indianapolis area I would be very grateful.
Good idea to tune.
I took my $10 craigslist bargain to the trail, only to find out it didn't transmit.
I could hear the gang fine, but nothing back to them.
I suspect the microphone, but I have nobody close that I know to test with.
My son doesn't have any walkie-talkies, either.
My dad has a number of "classic" mobile CBs that I should probably consider before buying a new microphone for this clod.

I went to the place off 37 and 465, the trailer next to the xxx store. A definate truckers paradise, anyway they put my cb on the SWR and I guess everything checks out. Thanks for the help.

Can someone give more directions to this place? I just hooked mine up a couple weeks ago and want to get it check out and can't find anyplace up here. I can go to that place the next time I'm in Indy. Thanks.
My dad gave me three old CB radios (circa 1975 and 1978), a firestick-type fiberglass antenna, a pair of circa 1974 walkie-talkies, and use of his SWR meter.
If guess if I can't get mine all tuned up, I'm a real loser!
