Was this Turner Truck Route? I have a lot of history with Channing as I have visited there for the last 30 years or so. It is close to our land and camp. Even modeled my train set after Channing.

I haven't lived there for the past 30 years but I do still make the occasional trip to the area as I still have family there. Presently live in SE Wisconsin so it's only about a 4 to 5 hour trip. Currently planning on going up there some time this winter to do some snowshoeing.
If you see either an '07 2 door silver Sahara or an '08 4 door black X with Wisconsin plates driving around in the Channing area odds are it will be me.
