thinking of chopping mine but dont know the law? anybody have any idea

 

I live in upper Mi.. No problems with the rugged ridge flat flares..

 

I like the Rugged Ridge flares ! Keep going back and forth about buying those or chopping mine! I will be moving back to Michigan soon and would hate to chop them now just to get back home and get a ticket.

 

Haven't had any issues with mine; and I live in Livonia where the cops seem to live for writing tickets for any and everything they possibly can - I don't know the law for sure, just saying that if they weren't legal here, I'd have to imagine I would have found out the hard way by now.

 

I would imagine you of all places would get the tickets/warnings ,Love the look of your Jeep Just got word today I will be moving back in a month

 

That's you I see driving around here all the time! I live in Livonia too and have almost an identical Jeep. I see you on 7 mile and Newburgh area a lot... Gotta be you?!

Indeed! I've spotted your JK a few times as well (that Ram looks a bit familiar as well) - nice to know we have the Silver JK's so well represented here!

 

lol - i think maybe i saw that RAM out in manisteeNF last october bouncing arround the trails

i dont think LE in MI really cares about fenders - prob all the motorheads keep em busy righting tickets and leave us slow jks alone

 

thats funny! the slow part! Just got the 35s yesterday and I am pretty sure I am and will cut them now!

 

Been running cut flares for over 2 years no issues. Besides once in Ann Arbor, truthfully think the cop gad some major personal issues. Lol. Actually been running no front flare for about 3 weeks due to a tree on a iced up trail. Still no issues like that even.
