Winter Weather Etiquette
So today I broke 3900 miles on the jeep! I also had the pleasure of testing the 4wd in the wet, slushy, nasty, beautiful mess. I do love my Jeep.
Enroute to a quick snowboarding session at Alpine Valley, the guy in front of me found himself in the ditch, and I found myself an opportunity to pull out the recovery gear! I stopped and offered a hand, which he was very glad to take. He strapped a 30k lb tow strap around his front sub frame, secured with a D link shackle and I looped it through my hitch. Less than 5 minutes later (mostly waiting to avoid traffic on the freeway) he was back on the road and my son and I were back on our way to snowboard.
I was very pleased with torque in 4w low. I had absolutely no problem getting him out.
I thought I would just share the experience!
Cheers!
