I'm in Madison. Are there any nice scenery places to just cruise on by that are about an hour away? I'm planning on taking some nice summer cruises (: if any of you guys near the area would like to tagalong, you would be welcomed to join. Can't go wrong with a Jeep Convoy

Welcome to Madison! I've thought about the Jamboree, but still uncertain about it at the moment. My group is starting to have meets next month if you're interested. It'll be a bunch of jeepers, us plus the jeeping public.

No, 305.19 (2) a: Every motor vehicle, except those manufactured with removable doors or without doors, shall be equipped with doors. Open top designed vehicles are not required to have operating doors when the vehicle is operated without a top. See http://docs.legis.wisconsin.gov/code.../trans/305.pdf
PS 305.26 says you still need a left mirror.. so mount one on your door hinge or A-pillar. Lots of cheap homemade options for this, or buy one prefab'd.
