6.8 spc
i am considering converting one of my AR type rifles into a 6.8, but before i take the plunge, i would like some feedback from anyone who has done it. specifically i am interested in accuracy differences (i hear it is significantly less accurate than the 5.56) and ammunition issues (if handloading, were there any problems getting dies, data and components? if factory loads, is there any problems buying ammo--is there enough selection out there and is the price reasonable?) also what manufacturers did you go with? did you buy complete uppers or did you buy components and build it yourself? and finally, are you happy with the 6.8 or do you wish you never bothered?

I have one. Wes at MSTN built the upper, it's a PRI setup. It shoots extremely well, .70 groups when I'm holding it right. I'm shooting the Hornady 110gr Vmax bullet... Had it for almost two years now. I have several cases of Hornady and Remington ammo, so no problem there. I am very happy with it...

Wes sells the PRI magazines. You can get the ten round and under mags here in CA.
Ensure you do not use 5.56 mags - the PRI mags are steel and are setup specifically for the wider 6.8 round. Mine shoots flawless... Never had an issue with it.
