Great buck..... Alberta, Sask and MB produce some hogs. Most of my Alberta bucks I have shot in the past dress out at the butchers about 175-225lbs.

Another hog taken in Manitoba this past hunting season!

The only thing I have to say about both of those deer in this thread is: holy shit. Definitely never seen anything like that down here in Alabama. Those are some nice white tails for sure!!

I was just noticing that in the last year his horns shrunk in enough that the tips of those main beams now are indeed almost touching. Where, when you killed him, they were what....3/4 to 1" apart? Your lucky tho, it makes him look even better that way. Unfortunately tho "shrinkage" does happen. And usually it's not a good thing. My big bull moose I killed was right at 58" wide. Now after almost 20 years hanging on a wall, in a room heated by a woodstove, last time I measured them they were 55.5". It's still all good tho.....they're always going to be our trophies and we can honor their gift to us for a lifetime...

Beautiful deer. I hope to go on a hunt in Canada when I retire in about five years. If I am still able.

I bet they'd been watching that buck for awhile.

Reminds me of the big UT. mulie a guy got in our party that went a bit over 350 on the hoof, and had a 42" spread. It took 3rd place in the Vegas tournament.
The only thing they grow big in Sask are the women. Lmao
