How you liking that new Springfield Mod 2 XD?

 

I seriously made fun of this design for months laughing at the labeling and gimmicks. My buddies and I would carry on for minutes about how stupid it was and how tacky the marketing technique was. Where is the trigger zone and the disassembly zone and the ejection zone???

I got so much shit from my friends when I bought it, but I couldn't not love it. Takes all my other XD mags, the grip really is the best improvement, it just fits my hand perfectly. It is probably 1/4" smaller in the grip than my 19. My pinky comes just to the end of the mag and rests on that bottom shelf. Full shooting grip, easy concealment, I carry 12o clock, and a 13 or 15 round reload. Sold. Out the door for 450, it's too good to pass up.

100 dollars cheaper than a glock, holds more than the 30s, my opinion, built more simple than the glock. I think the XD is the most basic handgun design, sounds crazy I know and I've bought and owned a ton, so no rhetoric please spare me. There are guys out there that brag about the glock and still bring it to a smith. While they wait for their drop in trigger, they get their nails done.

My 3 XD's have nearly 30k through them, I shoot a lot. I still have two glocks, and berettas, smiths, Taurus, rugers, etc. all of them work, duh.

But this mod2, it is the one I bring everywhere.

that paint job is sick man! i have a few ar's and i have have yet to nut up and paint any, how hard was it?

 

Lol just kinda winged it, sprayed the base tan first then used a laundry bag to get the pattern effect with various colors.

 

Just picked up the new Ruger AR556. Already started adding a few Magpul items.

 

Definitely like that rifle for the money it's a well built out of the box sporter.

Local ffl has em for 700 that's a steal!

 

I picked mine up for $650 but they're going up as they gain popularity. Great gun for the price. Right out of the box I put roughly 100 rounds through it with no issues.
