Para ordinance 1911 standard 5 inch with the LDA trigger system. It is one smooth shooting gun. Out in the wild I use a safari land low ride thigh rig. In town I carry in an uncle mikes nylon. looking for a good in the pants concel leather rig

Alsp a big fan of carrying a knife. A good pocket knife or tactical folder is less threatening then a gun. And also a great tool to have at all times. I keep one in the Console of the Jeep and one in each pocket. When I work Law Enforcement I carried a knife in my pocket one in my boot and one in my wallet. It is more for the Just in Case factor or the OH SHIT! times

I agree about the knife. I always carry at least one. I have since i was like 8years old and my grandfather gave me an old two bladed pocket knife (wish I still had that one). I am partial to SOG or Benchmade knives. A mini Xray works well for me at work, and a McHenry & Williams 710 or a Kulgera when not at work & depending on my mood.
