I usually carry a Ruger LCR .357, but I just picked up a Springfield XDS that I'm going to carry after I can get some time to practice with it.

Have you shot a lot of .357 out of that Ruger LCR? I have a not-much-bigger Ruger SP101, and the .357 is a tough load even in that gun. The SP101 is about as small as I was willing to go, knowing I would want to chamber .357 for defense, and so, also in target practice.

I also shoot a lot of .38+P through it, which barely kicks in comparison, and that may be sufficient for defense anyway. I use a Simply Rugged pancake holster that lets me conceal even when wearing shorts and t-shirt.

I've shot several .357 rounds out of it, but it does kick a bit since its such a small and extremely light weight gun. It has never hurt to shoot though, and the .38 rounds are hardly noticeable. I'm sure the Hogue Tamer grip that comes on it helps a lot also.

I carry a Glock 27 with a MIC holster...awesome conceal! I might get a Glock 23 though, as my hands are a bit big for the 27.

Concealed always. Its not anyone's business and I don't want to the first target. The element of surprise is a beautiful thing.

Only one way to carry for me, concealed. Ohio is open carry but it is not practiced here.

I just got my CHP in the mail 2 days ago and carry the Walther PPQ 9mm. I looked online for a IWB holster and bought the smallest cheapest one I could find, $21.95 shipping included so I could figure out where I prefer to carry (appendix, hip, back)
