Default 35s on cj-8

About to put 35 inch tires on my cj-8. Can I fit a 35x13 on a 15x8 mickey classic locks with just a 4 inch lift? I have a 2.5 with 33s now. If not what lift would work best for mostly on road?

I had the Rubicon Express 4.5" kit and it was plenty for 35's. I had those same wheels too.

Check out ww.cj-8.com/forum if you haven't already. Great board, nice guys.

Here's a buddy of mine's -8. It's a 4" on 35's. It's a total trailer-queen, but if I had as much invested in it as he does, I wouldn't drive it either. It's freakin immaculate and takes home trophies wherever he goes.

I know that '8. He goes by Stouttrout over on cj-8.com . One of the nicest, best-built (streetworthy) ones I've ever seen.

You oughta see it in person

I helped with the lift install and tried to get his 1st (near-dead) 350 running.
