wat are the stock axles on a cj? i dont kno wat year srry. theres one at the junk yard and no one can tell me axle size up there

That really depends on the CJ. The most common setup would be an AMC 20 in the back, and a Dana 30 in the front. Some early 70s had a Dana 44 rear, as did some 1986 models. There were some other axles in the earlier Jeeps as well. CJs ran a narrow track axle up through 1981, and sometime in 82 or 83 they switched to a wider track. The gearing could be anything from 2.72 to 4:11. All of this assumes that whatever is under that Jeep is stock, but there's no guarantee of that.
I don't know why you're looking, but keep in mind that the bolt pattern is different than your Wrangler.

oh i didnt kno that. well thanks for just saving me some cash lol. im just haveing a ruff go finding some biggers axles were i live
