First time in 30 years this Cj2a has seen sunlight.

However, I was not able to get it on the trailer, I'm going back tomorrow to try to get it on without running out of day light. Looks to be a good project vehicle since it has been garage kept and all of the parts are here along with several spare axles and other random parts along with a prehistoric Hi-lift type jack.
I thought this might be worth sharing.

Thx for sharing I'd love a project like that. By the way that is a bumper jack every car ( no i'm not calling the jeep a car) had them. That was when a car's bumper could actually be used as a lift point.
Thanks guys, I got it on a trailer after 8 hours of trying move it, it finally broke free and now it'll rolls. Tomorrow after work it's coming off the trailer and into the garage. And wednesday(My day off) the body is coming off and going to try to strip it to the frame if I have time.

It's a little less of a find as something that I've known was in the garage for a while but never had a place to work on it. It was my grandma's since she bought it from a miltary auction a few decades ago.
I have made a little bit of progress on the tear down portion of the rebuild.
In the shop, but not in its' current spot, but in the general area.
After it was unloaded from the truck. Along with my JK a couple days before the wreck.

Tear down begining

Underneath the fuel tank under the drivers seat.

Made a little more progress since then but I may go work on it tomorrow if I feel better than I did today, I'm still sore from the wreck :(
