Default Grandpas old 48 Willys

My grandfather rebuilt this old 48 from the ground up back in the 80's. Just thought I would share them.

Default the rest of the story...

Unfortunately I don't know where it is yet. I've been wanting to track it down to see what kind of condition its in. Grandpa drug it in around 1985. It was blue with the word "Pac Rat" in white letter on the side. It had a one gallon gas can behind the drivers seat for a gas tank. The original tank was rusted out with big holes. It had the original flat head 4 cylinder. Grandpa worked about two years to restore it back to original shape. I think he had every nut & bolt out of it once or twice, including completely rebuilding the engine. Sometime around. 1991 or 92 he sold it for $2500. I would have loved to have it, but I was just starting out and no extra money. Grandpa was well known for his Willey's Jeeps. He owned a Willey's Overland Jeep dealership back in the 50's. I have several photos of the garage I'll add soon. Here is a couple more pictures of the newspaper article and some information in a book mentioning him.
