Hi all,just to introduce myself my names bill and i live on the agean coast of turkey, i have just aquired a 1975 cj5 and its a bit sad!! so a lot of work is ahead,i think the parts might be a problem to get hold of, but hey thats life.

 

Welcome Bill! I have a 1974 CJ5, trying to decide if I want to just get it running and go from there or go for the total restore.

 

yes i know what you mean the jeep runs well but has got a lot of niggling problems, new shocks needed for a start!! there must be 8 inches of play in the steering so they are my first priority to get sorted. The body is not bad at all just a bit of cosmetic stuff,when i figure out how to put a picture on this i will let you see the offending article!!
