NV4500 or T-18 or rebuild

I have a 1985 CJ-7 and the transmission on it is pretty much on its last leg. Right now, I am trying to decide if I should rebuild or put a T-18 or NV4500 in it. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I think you are on the wrong forum. Most guys on here probably think you are talking about a stereo, I would post it up on pirate4x4 to get your answer.
