Report on Willys, can you guys help me out?
Hey guys ever since i got my JK last year i have really gotten into "the jeep thing" and in my school we have a big research report and it's on any topic. i chose the developement of the jeep brand. but i need to break it down into topics that can be easily researched. i know about knight, bantam and overlander and that i can find stuff on that, but i was wondering what You* guys wanted to know about it? if you could help me out on topics it'd be great. i'm just overthinking the whole process and need a bit of help to void my writers block
so far i have:
previous war vehicles
the need for a new war vehicle
competing companies
- knight
- willys overland
- ford
- bantam
developement
recreation
and with all of this i have to have real sources(got a buncha books from library) and like newspaper stuff and at least one interview, so if there is someone who owns a vintage willy's that is just like the military issue that would like to share information in an interview, just let me know.
thanks guys!

A very good source of Willys and early Jeep info is Carl Walck of Walck's 4 Wheel drive, he is the one I go to when I have a question the aforementioned forums can't answer. Good luck with your report.
thanks guys i found a ton of info online at willysonline and will try and use alot of info there. like i said i got alot of books on it and that so i hope it'll work out. my teacher told me there won't be alot to research, but i want to prove her wrong and crank out a good report. work will be needed, so i'll crank out my sources next week.

also check out www.thecj2apage.com . www.thecj3apage.com , www.thecj3bpage.com . the early cj's are the reason there is a jeep still. yes the ww2 willys mb and ford gpw along w/ the bantam scout car are the orig jeep willys took a huge gamble on producing and developing the 1/4 ton reconasince car for civilian use. see if you can find the book, selling the all american wonder. i have it and it is all the ads from 1944-1946 about selling the "jeep". check out my photo album for orig ads and photos. i'm full of useless jeep info. if there is something about the early jeeps you need to know shoot me a email i should be able to answer your question.
