Default Welcome to "My Other Jeep is a CJ"

The more I look the more I'm starting to see that a lot of Jeep JK Wrangler owners also have CJ's in their garage or driveway. Need I say, I thought it might be a good idea to start a new forum here for people to have discussions regarding this Jeep.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Eddie

Eddie - Sorry to bug you with this one but how do I make my CJ 7 picture larger in the dialog window. It was a huge file which I resized smaller-did I make it too small?
Thank you for running a great site - we've really enjoyed it as new JK owners. My wife has taken a interest in what other people are doing to their rigs. It's a great hobby or in your case Way of Life.

Hey biglynny, you're not buggin me at all. To answer your question, yes, you resized your image a bit small. I typically resize my images to be 760 pix wide at 72 dpi and your's looks to be 250 pix wide.

Please let me know if you still have more questions.

Cool CJ-8 / Looking for a LIFT

I hope I'm in the right place, guess we'll see. I've now got a total of 4 Jeeps, the latest being a 1981 CJ-8 Scrambler. But she needs a new attitude and just a little TLC. I want to put on about 4" of lift and maybe up to 33's. Maybe will settle on 31-32, but we'll see. I had ROUGH COUNTRY coil springs on my 02, but these are the shackle / spring type. Anyone have any suggestions as to the model and shock type and a reason (s) why? Links would help, too.

Thanks, Gato

Default My other jeep is a 1961 M151 Ford

I know it's not technically considered a Jeep but everybody sure thinks it is.

The one on the right is a 1955 M38A1 D, with a nuclear weapon launcher. The Cold War was on the Edge of being Hot many times.
