Willy build! What should I be considering and thinking about? The build would be to build a wife mobile that will be very reliable, smooth to drive.

My 2 cents----build her a TJ, not a Willys.

A TJ has a nice suspension, modern brakes and steering. It would be a considerable project to build a Willys to match those features that already reside in a TJ.
