Is it mechanically sound enough that you would drive it a long distance. Lets say to like Maine?

I drove it down with a full load of junk when we moved from Pennsylvania to Florida, it made the trip with no issues. But that was 2 1/2 years ago, and I haven't really been driving it since I bought the JK.

It was kind of annoying only having 4 gears on a highway trip, it really eats gas above 65mph, so I kept it slow.

I think that on another long trip, I would be concerned about the tires more than the rest of it, though I would take some extra belts and hose.

The battery is new, water pump and starter a little over a year old, I did the rear brake lines last summer I think.

I like the truck, I just don't use it. It takes up space in the driveway, and renewing insurance & registration each year isn't worthwhile anymore.

I'll get them up by tomorrow afternoon, if I don't make it tonight.
