Are you really getting over 20 mpg??? If so, how? I'm really curious......

I don't think it's out of the question. I do mostly in town driving, little bit of highway, and consistently get 20-22 mpg with mine. Of course, being stock probably helps, and I don't step on the gas hard off of every light either. When I get on highways I usually stay around 65-75 mph. It gets so much better than my stock 2004 TJ got, which was usually 16-17 mpg.

Dude - You got a great Jeep..
Enjoy it... Forget the basement....
Go outside... Take the girls and the wife with you....
Day trips... Camping,.. cook with her on the trip..., even shopping, let her catch the fever and drive too...

Use it, to bring your fam together .... not separate it....

Good Luck which ever way you go.... I trust you ideals will lead you...
