Default 1997 Wrangler repair question..

My 97 Wrangler died while my brother in law was using it. As it was 70 miles from me I told him to take it to the local mech. he knows and have em fix it.

Turns out the starter died and battery shorted. The mech. replaced the starter with a re-manufactured one and a new battery. He charged me $240.00 for the new starter and $95.00 for an hour of labor to install. Battery was $93.00.

Is this too high of a price for a re-manufactured starter? Not sure if I should go talk to him or not. I wasn't there when the price was quoted.

Kinda what I figured. Going to stop there and talk to the owner and question the core for the starter and battery. The labor around here is what is usual. It is around 85-100 and hour.

Thanks.
