Hi all I have a 4cyl 98' TJ on which the ac compressor pulley recently went out. I'm looking at a 700-1000$ repair if I replace the whole system. I've heard of people bypassing the pulley with a shorter serpentine belt or replacing the ac pulley with a delete pulley. I'd much rather go with one of these alternate routes as I don't need ac - it's a jeep, if I'm hot ill take the top off. Has anyone done this and if so what steps do I need to take to get my jeep running?
